At Rossville Schools, we believe that every student deserves support that reaches beyond the classroom. Our Student Services and Guidance Department is dedicated to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional well-being of every learner — helping them discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and chart a path toward success.
Our counselors and support staff work hand-in-hand with students, families, and teachers to create an environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Whether offering academic guidance, college and career planning, or a listening ear during difficult times, the department’s goal is simple — to help students reach their full potential and prepare for bright futures.
The Student Services and Guidance team also plays a vital role in fostering a positive school culture — one built on empathy, understanding, and respect. Their dedication ensures that Rossville students grow not only as scholars, but as confident, compassionate individuals ready to make a difference in the world.
Indiana College Core
Do you want to get a head start on College? The Indiana College Core allows high school students to earn 30 general education credits that can be transferred as a block to any public college or university in Indiana, as well as some private institutions. In other words, students who earn the College Core in high school may already be finished with their first year of college at a fraction of the cost. To learn more about the Indiana College Core and put together your plan, use My College (mycollegecore.org) and word closely with your school counselor.
